Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Psychology at the University of North Texas (UNT) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join the core faculty of the APA-accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology. We seek candidates with an active and potentially externally fundable program of research that complements the strengths of the current program faculty. Responsibilities will include maintaining a strong published research program, teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, mentoring graduate student research, and serving on departmental committees.

The UNT Department of Psychology has 27 FTE faculty members and over 1300 undergraduate majors. It includes two APA-accredited doctoral programs (Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology) as well as a Behavioral Science doctoral program. Our doctoral programs are distinct, though they function cooperatively and opportunities for collaborative research are numerous. The accredited doctoral programs are affiliated with the departmental Psychology Clinic, one of the largest University-based training clinics in the nation, which also provides many opportunities for research. The faculty members across the three doctoral programs engage in a wide range of research that is described on the department website.

Minimum Qualifications:
**Ph.D. in Psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology
**Engagement in impactful research
**Licensed or license eligible (any state is acceptable)

Preferred Qualifications:
**Record of applying for, and ideally receiving, competitive extramural funding
**High quality publications and professional presentations
**Evidence of competence in undergraduate and/or graduate teaching
**Excellent written and oral communication skills
**Completion of supervised postdoctoral hours
**Ability to supervise students working with Spanish-speaking clients and/or participants
