Job Details
Assistant Coaching position as determined by the Head Coach for the following: Tight Ends. Assessment and recruiting of appropriate student-athletes with excellent academic background to an NCAA FCS institution and assist in recommending scholarship for prospective student-athletes. Assist in scouting and in-season film evaluation and breakdown. Possess knowledge of and abide by NCAA and Patriot League rules and regulations. Assist in the organization and planning of all special events. Assist in fund-raising and development activities. Assist in continued development of positive public relations with alumni and the community. Assist with competitive contests. Assist in advising student-athletes. Work closely with Sports Medicine for the care and prevention of athletic injuries and support the overall drug and alcohol education program for student-athletes. Attend department meetings. Performance of all other duties and special projects as assigned by the Athletic Administration and Head Football Coach.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
SALARY: The position is a full-time administrative appointment and includes a competitive benefits package. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
