About The American University in Cairo:

Founded in 1919, AUC moved to a new 270-acre state-of-the-art campus in New Cairo in 2008. Job Description:

The Department of History at the American University in Cairo invites applications for a five-year position in Modern History at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, beginning fall 2019. All specializations and areas of study are welcome. The successful candidate must have a PhD in hand by the start of the appointment. The department is eager to review the applications of individuals with a strong research program, demonstrated commitment to teaching, and an interest in living and working in Egypt.


Requirements:

PhD in hand at the time of appointment and teaching experience.

Priority will be given to applications received by March 15, 2019. Positions are open until filled.
