The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is seeking part-time lecturers for the Doctor of Pharmacy Degree program, Distance Delivery Pathways (North American Trained PharmD and Internationally Trained PharmD programs in the Distance Degrees and Programs Office). The school remains fully committed to helping meet the educational needs of experienced practitioners with baccalaureate pharmacy degrees. The DDP program is an innovative and thriving online degree program designed to meet this need. The Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SSPPS) is nationally recognized for its leadership in pharmacy education and its strong commitment to developing and sustaining a diverse faculty, staff and student body

Primary responsibilities for this position include assisting current pharmacy students (entry level and distance degree) and advanced providers who are enrolled in the Integrative Health and Medicine (IHM) graduate certificate program. Responsibilities may include any of the following: coordinating courses and/or teaching in the IHM program; implementing and coordinating assessment processes for students in the IHM program; implementing and assessing redesign of the IHM program curriculum; in collaboration with the student services team, assisting in administering student services functions of the IHM program; assisting in the monitoring of student progress, addressing academic advancement issues and determining eligibility for graduation; and performing scholarly activities related to the IHM program and other related initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


For Lecturer positions are a PharmD, PhD in Pharmacology or Pharmacognosy, MD or a closely related health profession-related field. Masters degrees in the health professions may be considered for applicable topics. Teaching experience is strongly preferred.
