HOURS: 10 hours per week (2-3 days per week between the hours of 8am - 5pm)
SALARY: $12.00/hour


To provide project fulfillment support to outreach teams including maintaining appropriate data in information system. Respond to inquiries of internal and external customers.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Coordinate, prep and staff special events and meetings, monitor registrations.
  • Serve as a point of contact for events and programs.
  • Assist customers with questions about events and programs.
  • Research and update email distribution lists.
  • Serve on the events' taskforces, which will include taking minutes
  • Assist with the set-up and breakdown of events both on-site and off-site, along with staffing the event.
  • Assist with the management of social media outlets. This includes increasing frequency of interaction, brainstorming ideas, and keeping the content fresh.
  • Compose and edit documents such as press releases, event programs, presentations, agendas, minutes, drafts, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

Education: Earning a degree in event management or office assistant program
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of related experience
**An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered

Computer Skills: (What is required upon hire to be successful in this position?)
Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to type 40 words per minute with 95 percent accuracy

Must hold a valid driver's license and be insurable under the District's standard insurance policy terms.
