Job Summary:

Responsible for the administration of employee compensation, human resources information system, data integrity and data reporting, employee policies/procedures, and compliance with state and federal law. Serves as a resource for employee concerns. Serves as liaison between Human Resources, Information Technology and third-party administrators to manage tech solutions and meet the needs of the Human Resource Department.

Essential Functions:
1. Assures compliance with Federal and State regulation compliance relating to employees.
2. Serves as team leader for the Banner® Human Resources module. Provides workforce data and analysis for state and compliance federal reports, market surveys and internal College constituents.
3. Serves as the primary administrator for the applicant tracking and onboarding portals. Recommends and implements system enhancements along with testing and troubleshooting functionality.
4. Prepares and presents trainings for new HRIS products and features as it relates to Banner® and PeopleAdmin.
5. Administers faculty compensation plan with salaries based on credentials. Prepares Faculty Placement sheets annually.
6. Administers staff compensation plan including maintaining staff salary matrix and calculating annual salaries for budget projections and salary increases.
7. Develops employment agreements and contracts, including part-time faculty workload reports.
8. Provides support for Administrative Services, including data collection and analysis, preparation of reports, and assists with special events.
9. Assists with creating and posting job vacancies.
10. Engages with professional organization(s) and professional development activities to stay current with relevant human resources best practices. Stays current with changes in federal and state laws affecting human resources.
11. Cross trained and able to provide coverage for others in the Human Resources department.
12. Assists in the review, testing, data analysis and implementation of Banner Human Resources module upgrades and patches.
13. Document Human Resource processes/workflow, and problem resolution activities. Train, new Human Resource Department members on Banner data entry as well as cross-train department members on data entry and process management.
14. Assists in identifying and analyzing options and recommends business process enhancements based on system functionality.
15. Process bi-weekly payroll for part-time faculty.
16. Performs other duties as assigned.

Other Duties:

Under the limited supervision of the Executive Director of Human Resources, assists in executing the College’s human resources functions, assuring compliance with state and federal regulations and College policies. Responsibilities include compensation, information management system, payroll processing, data reporting and analysis, employee recruitment support, and addressing complaints. Supports Administrative Services activities.

Job Specifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business preferred. Three or more years of human resources, finance, or information technology experience required. Strong word processing, spreadsheet design, and database design skills required. Three or more years of experience in the analysis, design, and/or administration of compensation programs highly preferred. Familiarity with information management systems required; human resources management software experience preferred; Banner® Human Resources experience highly preferred. Strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills. High level of confidentiality required. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment.

Salary Range: Minimum $43,279 Midpoint $57,345
