We are looking for a new Vice Provost for Academic Innovation and Faculty Affairs to provide innovation in teaching, learning, and curricula; leadership and enhancement of the academic undergraduate experience and management of faculty affairs. Reporting to the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, the Vice Provost will advise the Provost on a wide range of issues related to undergraduate education, academic innovation and faculty affairs. In carrying out these responsibilities, the Vice Provost will collaborate closely with stakeholders across campus to ensure that excellence, fairness and equity are maintained across all undergraduate and faculty affairs-related matters. This newly-created position aims at connecting the needs of students and faculty.

The successful candidate is expected to be an accomplished faculty scholar with substantial administrative and academic leadership experience at research universities. They possess the capacity to drive meaningful change by ensuring efficient and effective systems and processes to support our excellent undergraduate students and faculty. They have a demonstrated commitment to, and involvement with, undergraduate education and faculty affairs and the aptitude to be an innovative, visionary and pragmatic leader. They also have a general knowledge of the wide range of disciplines, interests and constituencies at Stevens, with a demonstrated commitment to shared governance and diversity.
