Bucknell University's Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator assumes primary leadership across campus for coordinating and facilitating prevention education and bystander intervention programs addressing sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking. It also assists the Title IX Coordinator with related training efforts. This individual must provide experience that will contribute to the University's commitment to diversity and academic excellence.

Job Duties:
The Interpersonal Violence Prevention Coordinator will:
*Lead the Speak UP Bucknell program, including recruiting, training, advising, and supervising the student group of approximately 50 students that serve as Bucknell University's Peer Educators.
*Engage in strategic planning for an ongoing, comprehensive, systemic approach to preventing and addressing sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking, as well as encouraging healthy relationships at Bucknell.
*Organize workshops for all first-year students.
*Facilitate dialogue about consent, boundaries, and healthy sexuality that empowers individuals and the greater Bucknell community.
*Develop, implement, expand, and enhance programs aimed toward preventing sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking, consistent with all legal obligations and taking into consideration federal guidance and best practices.
*Conduct regular needs and outcome assessments for the planning and evaluation of prevention education programming.
*Provide training for faculty and staff (including student staff) serving in roles on campus which place them in a position to be helpful to survivors of sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking, and who may have reporting requirements relative to the Clery Act.
*Assist the Title IX Coordinator in educating the campus community about the University's policies and procedures related to sex discrimination (which includes sexual misconduct), relationship violence, and stalking.
*Collaborate and build relationships with colleagues in other relevant offices/departments, including but not limited to Athletics, Bucknell Student Health, the Counseling & Student Development Center, the Office of Residential Education, Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, Women's Resource Center, and academic departments such as Women's & Gender Studies.
*Collaborate and build relationships with colleagues in the Office of General Counsel regarding the University's legal obligations in connection with sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking.
*Coordinate Take Back the Night, Red Flag Campaign, Sex Week and several other programming initiatives.
*Serve as a consultant to campus constituents on educational issues related to sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking.
*Obtain, develop, and distribute print and electronic educational materials (posters, brochures, website, social media, etc.) or other passive programming efforts that address sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking.
*Assist in the annual review, revision, and regular maintenance of the web resources that address sexual misconduct, relationship violence, and stalking.
*Remain current on information and news pertaining to sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking, as well as related prevention efforts. This includes engaging in professional development to maintain best practices.
*Serve as the Chair of the Coalition for Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Education.
*Provide on-going communication to keep the campus community informed regarding the progress of the sexual misconduct and relationship violence prevention work and related campus climate changes.
*Assist the Title IX Coordinator on other matters related to sexual misconduct, relationship violence, stalking, and campus climate, as assigned.
*Serve on divisional and University committees as appropriate.
*Attend all departmental and divisional meetings and retreats.
*Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

*Master's degree in Higher Education, Public Health, Social Work, or other relevant professional field
*Demonstrated experience with educational program planning and assessment
*Knowledge of and demonstrated experience relevant to healthy sexuality, sexual misconduct prevention, and/or dating violence prevention education
*Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of working with underserved communities, including but not limited to students of color, LGBTQ students, international students, and students with intersecting identities

This individual must be able to work independently, communicate effectively and creatively through written and oral presentations, and work evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:
*Three years experience in a relevant field
*Demonstrated experience working with college students
