Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree required; preferred focus: health care, biology or related field.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

1-2 years of experience in clinical research preferred.
Previous experience monitoring or auditing clinical research studies is preferred.
Medical terminology proficiency is preferred.
Prefix assignment will be determined by years of relevant work experience.

Position Summary:

The Compliance & Monitoring Coordinator will function within the Clinical Research Central Office (CRCO) serving at the discretion
of the Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center (UWCCC). The incumbent
will provide administrative support to the Data and Safety Monitoring Committee, UWCCC Clinical Research administration and
study teams. The Compliance & Monitoring team works together to accomplish UWCCC goals through compliance education,
auditing and monitoring of clinical research, and assisting study teams in resolving issues found during audits. The incumbent must be
able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work independently using initiative and good judgment.

Some travel may be required. Must be able to provide own transportation or qualify to use a UW vehicle. To qualify to use a UW vehicle, must have valid driver's license, and meet the UW Risk Management Driving Authorization and Car Fleet requirement and eligibility.
