Purpose of Position:
The Executive Director of Communications, reporting to the Associate Dean for Global Marketing and Communications, will lead the strategy and execution of Communications at the Carey Business School, including Social Media, Internal Communications, External Communications, Media Relations, Public Affairs, and Crisis Management. The successful candidate will fully develop and articulate the story of the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School to various global constituents and manage the School's messaging to both external and internal stakeholders.

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification:
Master's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business or a related field required.
8 years' experience of related experience required, 10 years of relevant experience preferred.
JHU Equivalency Formula: 30 undergraduate degree credits (semester hours) or 18 graduate degree credits may substitute for one year of experience. Additional related experience may substitute for required education on the same basis. For jobs where equivalency is permitted, up to two years of non-related college course work may be applied towards the total minimum education/experience required for the respective job.
