The Academic Affairs Coordinator will provide administrative support for registrar and technology functions for the Office of Academic Affairs in the Kornberg School of Dentistry for the predoctoral program. Primary responsibilities will be assisting current and incoming students with requirements and procedures for everything from course registration, board clearance, documentation for license, applications for residency programs, graduation, etc.; assisting faculty with the creation and delivery of varied types of assessments; creating, processing, and maintaining both paper and electronic documentation for all related paperwork on the students and curricula including academic records, graduation information, diplomas, transcripts, course records and schedules, course assessments, accreditation documentation, expense reports, etc. Must have a high comfort level with technology to be able to function well under pressure and provide real time, efficient, classroom hardware and software troubleshooting and other technology support during examinations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree and at least 1 year of related experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills & Abilities:

* Demonstrated technology skills at an advance level of proficiency, including hardware and software troubleshooting abilities.

* Must be able to work with a diverse populations of students, faculty, staff, and other external contacts.

* Demonstrated attention to detail and sound judgment with the ability to make independent decision.

* Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational and interpersonal skills.

* Demonstrated ability to organize and maintain large quantities of information.

* Excellent customer services skills with the demonstrated ability to calmly handle various complaints, problems, and questions.

* Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and make independent decisions for non-complex issues.

Preferred: * Previous experience within a dental, higher education environment.

* Experience with student registration within a higher education environment highly preferred.
