Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field, demonstrated success in research, and a strong commitment to excellence in teaching. For a candidate seeking a position at the level of associate or full professor, a record of attracting external research funding appropriate to their rank is an important factor.
