Academic Coordinator

Job description



The Math Preparation & Placement Coordinator position will oversee the Math APP courses and staff including teaching assistants and peer educators. Will assist the APP Director with building class schedules and organizing common exams.

Will also be responsible for coordination of placement testing for Math, Reading, Writing and ESL programs. Will schedule and staff the proctored exams and manage the vouchers for offsite testing.

Position will collaborate and advise on initiatives, planning and policy concerning placement testing.

Physical Requirements

Sitting or standing for long periods of time. Repetitive motion and long exposure to the computer screen. May need to lift, push or pull items up to 25 lbs.



Shift

Monday - Friday; 8:00 am-5:00 pm; and occasional weekends or evenings.

Interpersonal communication; and supervision.
