FACULTY RECRUITING IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING-THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN. The McKetta Department of Chemical Engineering seeks outstanding applicants for a senior faculty position at the level of Professor. Applicants at the level of Professor must have an exemplary record of externally sponsored research, undergraduate and graduate teaching and mentoring, and service. The area of focus for this search is biotechnology for the characterization and design of complex biological systems for applications in health care, materials, and energy.


Qualifications
Applications from women and minorities are especially encouraged. A successful candidate is expected to teach undergraduate and graduate chemical engineering courses, direct an internationally recognized sponsored research program, collaborate with other faculty, and participate actively in service to the university and the profession. A Ph.D. in chemical engineering or related field is required.
