Position Status: Full-Time

Position Summary:
Fraternity & Sorority Life. The Coordinator for Fraternity and Sorority Life coordinates, develops and implements a comprehensive advising and support program for University recognized student organizations and fraternities/sororities, with specific attention to membership recruitment, retention, leadership transition and development and other topics that assist in the overall success of these student organizations.

Essential Functions
  • Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with fraternity and sorority community constituents.
  • Creates a comprehensive leadership development program for Recognized Student Organizations (RSO) and Fraternities/Sororities.
  • Works in collaboration with the Student Government Association to host monthly Organizational President's Council meetings.
  • Collaborates with campus partners, off-campus partners, and other stakeholders to assist participants.
  • Maintains accurate current records of organization officers, members, and faculty/staff or community advisor information.

    Bachelor’s degree

    Three or more years of related work experience (undergraduate and graduate student work experience will be considered)

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
    Effective communication (verbal and written), organization and human relations skills; ability to work well in a diverse environment; proficiency with computer and Microsoft Office Applications software including word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; legally authorized to work in the United States; successful completion of background investigation prior to employment.

    Master’s Degree

    Salary Range: $33,000.00
