The Breast Imaging Section in the Department of Radiology at the Leonard Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami, invites applications for a full-time faculty member at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the clinical educator track.

The successful applicant will join breast Imaging radiologists who are involved in imaging at multiple facilities including Jackson Memorial Hospital, a 1600-bed primary and tertiary care public hospital; UHealth Tower Hospital, a private 550-bed multi-specialty hospital; and the University of Miami Hospital and Clinics including Sylvester and Comprehensive Cancer Center. 

The ideal candidate for this position will have completed a fellowship in Breast Imaging.  Both junior faculty, as well as more senior candidates with an academic record commensurate with experience, will be considered. 

Responsibilities will include providing clinical imaging services, mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and intervention. The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center is a high volume clinical service, with state of the art equipment, including digital breast tomosynthesis units across the system, several US units, prone and upright stereotactic biopsy units, as well as numerous 1.5 and 3.0 T magnets with breast imaging and intervention capabilities.   In addition to the rich clinical experience, to participate in teaching residents and medical students, clinical research, journal club, and weekly multidisciplinary conferences.  Optional involvement in on-call general radiology schedule.  Serve on Departmental committees as requested by the Chair of Radiology.
