The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition is seeking a full-time faculty member.  Candidates must have an MD/OD, be board certified/eligible in Pediatrics and Gastroenterology and Nutrition and licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Florida.  Candidates will be at the assistant/associate professor level of the clinical educator track.  Patients are seen at the 250-bed Holtz Children’s Hospital at Jackson Memorial Medical Center and Jackson North Medical Center, the Mailman Center for Child Development, the Batchelor Children’s Research Institute, the Sussman Family Crohn’s and Colitis Center, as well as community sites in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.  The Pediatric GI Division is fully integrated with the Miami Transplant Institute and UM’s Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center.  The Department of Pediatrics has a large residency program and the GI Division operates a fellowship program. 

The Pediatric GI faculty member will have demonstrated both clinical and scholarly expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.  The candidate must be able to work efficiently and independently as part of collaborative groups.
