The University of Miami, Department of Classics, is soliciting applications for individuals interested in possible part-time teaching positions (maximum two courses in a semester). Ph.D. in Classics or related discipline required by time of appointment. At least one year’s experience in college teaching preferred. Duties include teaching undergraduate courses in Latin and/or Greek and/or English translation, and participating in various departmental activities. An appointment/offer is contingent upon student demand (enrollments) and available funding, with the possibility that final confirmation will not be available until classes begin.
