The Department of History at the University of Miami invites applications for a tenure-track position in modern U.S. History/20th Century U.S. at the level of assistant professor. All specializations will be fully considered by the search committee. The successful candidate will be expected to teach the second half of the U.S. survey regularly as well as develop courses in U.S. History and in her or his special field(s). Applicants must have the PhD in hand by the time of the appointment in August 2019.
