The Miami Transplant Institute, a joint collaboration with the University of Miami Health System (UHealth) and Jackson Memorial Hospital seeks an Assistant Professor to serve as a full-time faculty member at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Individuals will serve under the Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in the subspecialty of nephrology, with additional fellowship training in transplant nephrology and have recognized expertise in clinical care, teaching, and research. Duties to include providing direct patient care to adult outpatients in the Miami Transplant Institute faculty practice (including satellite clinics) and adult inpatients at Jackson Memorial Hospital.  Also includes coverage of inpatient consult coverage and weekend on-call service. He/she will participate in the educational and training activities of the nephrology and transplant nephrology programs. Additional desirable skills the ability to communicate in Spanish and/or Creole.
