We are seeking an oceanographer whose area of research addresses fundamental questions involving zooplankton ecology and/or the interactions between biology and physics on scales from the organism to the continental shelf using experimental, field-based, or modeling approaches (or combinations thereof).

The appointment is expected to be made at the Assistant Professor level, but consideration will also be given to exceptional applicants seeking appointment at the Associate Professor level. The successful candidate will be interdisciplinary, self-motivated, and interested in pursuing innovative research and education in a highly supportive academic environment.

This position will be based at the University of Georgia Skidaway Institute of Oceanography located in Savannah, GA.
