Working Title: Clinic Director, Open Rank Professor of Patient Care in Clinical Psychology for the Department of Psychological Science/College of Liberal Arts


The Department of Psychological Science at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) invites applications for a Clinic Director for the department’s training clinic. This is a non tenured clinical position (open rank). Responsibilities include development and administration of clinic operations, patient care providing clinical training and supervision to graduate students, organizing community practicum placements, and facilitating research through the department’s training clinic. The clinic director is also expected to be an active collaborator in clinical research and to submit grants to support the clinic’s training goals. Applicants must have a PhD from an APA accredited program in clinical psychology or foreign equivalent. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in clinical supervision, expertise in evidence-based interventions and assessment, and a record of dissemination of clinical science through publications and conference presentations with Mexican American/Spanish speaking populations, as well as those candidates who are bilingual English/Spanish.
