The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition as part of the University of Colorado Denver | Anschutz Medical Campu has an opening for a full-time Assistant professor. This position is responsible for patient care, clinical or translational research, teaching.

Salary and Benefits
The hiring salary for this position is negotiable and commensurate with skills and experience. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

The responsibilities for this position include patient care, clinical or translational research, and teaching.
Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition
Examples of Work Performed
Patient care in Pediatric Gastrointestinal Diseases at Children's Hospital Colorado (CHCO) Main Campus and Network of Care Clinics, including inpatient attending and outpatient clinics, as well as performing the full range of gastrointestinal procedures, including performance of procedures at CHCO Network of Care facilities.
The position is a full-time (1.0 FTE) faculty position that will spend the majority of time in clinical care and assist to develop a Center of Excellence in Pediatric Neurogastroenterology and Motility.
Performing clinical or translational research in gastrointestinal disorders.
The successful candidate will have a clinical and research focus in GI diseases, and be experienced in the full gamut of pediatric GI disorders and GI procedures.
Education and teaching of pediatric residents, pediatric gastroenterology fellows, students, and others.
Completed fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at RRC-approved fellowship (or equivalent)
American Board of Pediatrics Board Certified in Pediatrics
Board Eligible or certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology or Transplant Hepatology
Two years prior experience in a busy clinical service
Previous experience teaching residents and fellows
Publications in peer-reviewed journals in pediatric gastroenterology or related fields.
