Degree and Area of Specialization:
-Bachelor's degree is preferred.
-A degree is not required for this position, though prior training and education in office management, communications, or project management is strongly desired.
Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:
-At least 2 or more years of professional experience providing high level administrative support is required.
Prefix assignment determined by years of relevant work experience. A minimum of 7 years' experience is required for appointment at the senior level.
License or certificate:
This position will assist the Chair, Vice Chairs, and Director of Business Services within Department of Psychiatry at the School of Medicine and Public Health. This position must interface and serve as a liaison with Psychiatry Department faculty and staff, UW Health Administration, School of Medicine and Public Health Administration, UW Medical Foundation, outside administrators locally, regionally, nationally and internationally.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to function with minimal supervision.
-In-depth knowledge of clinical, educational, and research activities within the Department, UW Health, School of Medicine and Public Health, UW Foundation, and University, as well as knowledge of relevant policies and procedures.
