Pharmacy Director/UKHC

Job description



Directs activities associated with the provision of 24/7 Hospital-Based Retail Pharmacy Services through UK Chandler Retail Pharmacy and after hours for all UK Healthcare. Specifically, managing daily operations for 24/7 UK Chandler Retail pharmacy and coordinating after-hours support for all retail locations. Ensure the unit meets departmental and organizational goals as well as maintains compliance with all state and federal pharmacy law and regulations.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements of this position include: occasionally standing, walking with, and/or lifting objects up to 25lbs; regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; standing for greater than 5 hours at a time; walking several miles per day; and performing repetitive motions (such as typing).



Shift

Primarily day shifts but will be responsible for any emergent issues related to 24/7 operations PIC duties and project implementation/support as needed.

Preferred Education/Experience

Pharm D preferred; Ambulatory/Retail Pharmacist-in-Charge experience highly preferred.
