Responsibilities

The Technical Web Developer will assist the College of Fine Arts College Communications Specialist in the design, development, maintenance and troubleshooting of web-related services.

Provides customized solutions and troubleshooting to the College of Fine Arts faculty & staff of web related requests

Actively participates in the customization of email marketing materials

Assists College Communications Specialist by implementing web-based solutions and strategies

Assists College IT team to ensure security of all web systems

Implement updates and monitor back-end performance of all College websites

Investigates new and innovative design, software, and technologies and report findings to College Communications Specialist

Track College website analytics and create reports as requested

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and two years experience

Programming: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap

Content Management Systems: WordPress

Wordpress directory FTP navigation and editing - themes, plugins, updates

Accessibility and Usability Guidelines for Web and Electronic Media**

Design: Adobe CS

Preferred

Programming: PHP, JavaScript

Web Packages: PhpMyAdmin, Xampp or Lampp

Word and Software Documentation

Databases: MySQL, RSS or XML, and Relational concepts

Anticipated Salary Range

Anticipate hiring at $13.00 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Criminal Background Check

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
