Responsibilities

Serves as primary website administrator and is responsible for the planning, design, development, implementation, management, problem resolution, debugging, security, and privacy of the CoSSPP web infrastructure. Develops standards and guidelines that include University standards, monitors traffic and analyzes usage of the CoSSPP web infrastructure and application.

Responsible for the technical design and overall usability of departmental websites within the CoSSPP. Uses technologies such as, but not limited to, web encoding (HTML5), CSS, native Javascript, PHP, SQL, and Content Management systems (Wordpress & Drupal) to create, implement, and maintain CoSS websites and interrelated applications for the CoSSPP

Responsible for assisting senior management in the CoSSPP with development and implementation of policies and procedures as it relates to the web infrastructure and applications. To include long-term strategic planning. May also provide training, workshops, and or workshops for staff, students, and organizations as they relate to the web infrastructure and/or on-line applications and services.

Responsible for the research, development, and implementation of potential technology-based solutions to maximize efficiency of office processes and procedures. Responsible for the implementation of strategies to better target communications to specific populations and to increase web presence in enrollment management.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree and two years of experience; or a high school diploma or equivalency and six years of experience.

(Note: or a combination of appropriate post high school education and six years experience.)

Experience or knowledge of web design, graphic design layout and computer graphics.

Experience or knowledge of standard programming languages, concepts and procedures in the technology field.

Ability to perform accurately in a detail oriented environment.

Ability to convey technical information to technical and non-technical users.

Ability to interface web applications with other systems.

Pay Plan

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.

Schedule

This position is an 8:00am - 5:00pm position with one hour for lunch.

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
