WBUR is looking for a Technical Associate for our new convening space, CitySpace. This position requires knowledge and experience working both front and back of house running an audio mixing console for live shows which will sometimes include live radio broadcasts. The Technical Associate will support the Technical Director of CitySpace as required and will assist with video production, web streaming, and other technical systems required to support a performance. Assistance with the setup and breakdown of the performance space before and after events will also be required, including chair and table setup. The ideal candidate will need to be able to take direction from the Technical Director and Operations Manager and perform tasks with minimal supervision. This position will require flexible scheduling to accommodate support for evenings and weekends.
Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred with at least three to five years of related work experience.
