The Educational Training Program Coordinator will be primarily responsible for independently organizing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of medical student and resident trainees in the Geriatrics Section of the School of Medicine. The incumbent must work closely with geriatric section faculty and staff to coordinate trainee schedules and provide administrative support as needed.

Duties include:

  • Preparing 4 week block schedule for 4th year medical students, including clinical visits and didactic lectures
  • Giving orientation to students each block
  • Resolving scheduling conflicts and last minute changes
  • Meeting weekly with Clerkship Director and Assistant Director
  • Ensuring student evaluations are completed and submitted to registrar
  • Coordinates speaker for lecture series and manages CME process

1 to 3 years of experience and Bachelor’s degree required. Equivalent experience will be taken into consideration in lieu of degree. Experience in an educational setting a plus. Exceptional organizational skills and follow-up.
