Scheduling and Event Assistant

This position reports to the unit's MSO. Under the direction of the MSO and Department Chairs, the position has several areas of responsibility in scheduling and instructional support, event coordination, and administrative support. Scheduling and instructional support responsibilities include quarterly scheduling classes for the units according to the Registrar's quarterly timeline, coordinating textbook and desk copy orders, setting up course evaluations and maintaining course evaluation files, liaising with the Undergraduate Studies office; processing undergraduate student petitions; assisting with course and course change proposals; updating undergraduate student listservs, and other instructional support. The position also has responsibility for event coordination as requested including coordinating with faculty, graduate students, and other staff and the work study team on venue reservations and arrangements, permits, sign-in sheets, catering orders, event set up and breakdown, flyer creation and announcement distribution and postings. The position also serves as front office reception and provides other administrative support as needed.

Salary: Hourly $22.56 - $26.49
Total Hours: 8am - 5pm Mon-Fri
