FEDERAL WORK STUDY

ADVANCEMENT

PASADENA CA CAMPUS

POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Student Worker for our Advancement Office!
The Advancement Office Student Worker will serve as a student representative in the Advancement Office and provide general office and event support to the team.
This position is located in Pasadena and reports directly to the Director of Advancement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assist with answering telephones, filing, document scanning, photocopying and other general office management services.
Provide support at institutional events such as the annual Burgess Lecture, Children's School Spring Benefit, and Alumni Receptions.
Prepare materials for commencement and assemble mass mailings.
Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Maintain a professional demeanor.
Strong organization skills.
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to list moderate to heavy loads (up to 20lbs).

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be in good standing with the college.
Must be eligible for Financial Aid.
Strong computer skills including: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, etc.
Must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Ability to work both independently and in a team.
