LOCATION: 1428 Main Street, Marinette, WI
STANDARD HOURS: Monday-Friday & 4-5 hours per day between the hours of 8AM-3PM - 20 hours per week
Grant Length: January 2nd 2019 - December 23rd, 2019, possible continuation if contract renews
MINIMUM STARTING RATE OF PAY: $13.34/hour. Pay based upon experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide customer service and perform administrative functions for the North Coast Marine Manufacturing Training Center (NCMMTC) such as course scheduling, room assignments, marketing of classes, and instructor workload and assignments.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Operate telephone to answer, screen, or forward calls, provide information, and take messages regarding classes, scheduling, registration, etc...
• Process student registration and enter grades.
• Assist in the management of course scheduling and room assignments. Enter and maintain instructor assignments and create faculty course agreements.
• Coordinate office facility and operational concerns.
• Ensure materials, supplies and support are provided for the start-up of classes.
• Provide administrative support to the Center team.
• Provide support and customer service to business and industry customers.
• Work with Corporate Training and Economic Development department regarding fulfillment of contracts.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Enrolled in the Associate's Degree in Administrative Assistant or Business-related field
Experience: Minimum three years related experience
*An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

• Microsoft Office Suite and data management system (PeopleSoft preferred).
