Assistant Professor of Endodontics

Job description

The University of Kentucky College of Dentistry is seeking applications for a full-time Assistant Professor of Endodontics. This is a faculty position with major emphasis on instructional activities. Service and limited creative responsibility are also included. A minimum of 60-70% effort is devoted to teaching the principles and techniques of endodontic dentistry to dental students in pre-clinical and clinical courses. Responsibilities include directing one or more required courses and/or elective courses with attendance course preparation, development, and student tutorial responsibilities.

Clinical endodontics experience, as well as experience in academic dentistry and dental education.

Eligible for an Academic Dental License through the Kentucky Board of Dentistry

Preferred Education/Experience

Experience in academic dentistry and dental education preferred. Proficiency in research design, technical writing, and history of published manuscripts in appropriate peer reviewed publications highly preferred
