Description
The Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin seeks outstanding applicants for a tenure-track or tenured faculty position at any rank with a demonstrated record in the area of electron microscopy.


Qualifications
Candidates must have a Ph.D. degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences related to electron microscopy and a record of accomplishment commensurate with their rank. The successful candidate will be expected to build and maintain a strong, independent sponsored research program, engage in and lead collaborative and multidisciplinary research, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise graduate students, and be involved in service to the university and profession.

Interested applicants should submit the following: (1) cover letter, (2) curriculum vitae, (3) statement of research and teaching interests, and (4) a list of at least five references.

Candidates should address their submission to Faculty Search Committee - Electron Microscopy. Evaluation of applications will begin January 1, 2019 although the search will be held open until suitable candidates are identified. The selected candidate will be required to complete an Employment Eligibility Verification form, provide documents to verify identity and eligibility to work in the USA, and complete a security sensitive background check.
