PROGRAM MANAGER, Office of Professional Development & Postdoctoral Affairs

The Program Manager within the Professional Development and Postdoctoral Affairs (PDPA) office develops and implements programs and services aligned with our mission to support the postdoctoral community, working under the direction of the Director. The Program Manager is also the voice of PDPA, developing and maintaining communications with our stakeholders through our weekly newsletter and webpage creation. This role oversees our postdoctoral appointment and onboarding process in the Boston University School of Medicine, generating offer letters, maintaining a guidebook resources for entering postdocs, ordering business cards, and organizing/leading postdoc orientation sessions. The Program Manager also oversees our non-employee benefits program. The Program Manager is also the owner of PDPA’s data dashboard, our main tracking system for program outcomes and metrics. Finally, the Program Manager is directly responsible for tracking and proactively forecasting the PDPA budget as well as budgets for our sponsored awards, reporting on expenses monthly.

Bachelor's degree required, three to five years of related experience.
