Albion College invites applications for the position of Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for day to day operations of the accounting office. The Manager provides leadership to the accounting staff and to all on campus who use their services. The Manager will be knowledgeable of accounts receivable and collection practices, accounts payable procedures and development of customer relations procedures. The Accounting Office is a sub-department of the Business Office which belongs to the Finance and Administration Division. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload with sensitivity and confidentiality. - Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field required
- Minimum of two years of accounting experience; accounting experience in higher education preferred
- Supervisory experience in a union environment preferred
- Customer service skills, including the ability to respectfully and assertively guide students and parents through collections efforts
