Minimum $36,790 ANNUAL (12 months)

Degree and Area of Specialization:

B.A./B.S., or equivalent in related work experience required.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

1 year experience required in recruiting, ideally in healthcare recruiting
Experience with health care systems and service delivery organizations is preferred
Knowledge of the various medical specialities preferred
Digital and social media communications experience is preferred

Position Summary:

The Wisconsin Office of Rural Health is seeking a Physician Recruiter to assist healthcare employers around the state (both rural and urban sites) with sourcing and recruiting physicians. Working closely with in-house recruiters, our program supplements their work to provide them every opportunity for finding the right candidate to fill their openings. Our 30+ year program has long-term relationships with clinics, hospitals, and systems around the state, and stresses a matchmaking style of candidate/site fit that ideally creates long-term placements. The Physician Recruiter also provides technical assistance to employers struggling to fill vacancies, especially in rural areas, makes presentations at statewide residencies, attends job fairs, and maintains a strategic communications strategy to attract potential physician candidates.
