The Student Counseling Services (SCS) invites applications for a Staff Psychologist position, with a preferred start date of August 1, 2019. We are seeking dynamic professionals with the skills and creativity to share our commitment to excellence and who would enhance the diversity of our staff. We seek professionals with well-developed therapy skills, strong interests in carrying a diverse and large clinical caseload, experience and interest in supervision and training of emerging psychologists, and a commitment to contribute to our outreach and prevention initiatives serving the larger campus community. Position responsibilities would include brief individual, couples and group counseling, involvement as a supervisor in our doctoral psychology internship and/or externship training programs, assessment, crisis intervention and management, consultation and liaison work, and outreach programming. We are also looking for individuals with a demonstrated commitment to advancing the vision of a culturally competent counseling center and who has a willingness to work with underserved and underrepresented student populations. We welcome applications from both entry level professionals and those with several years of experience. Finally, we seek colleagues who would strive to work collaboratively with their peers, both within the unit and across the campus, and those who have strong interpersonal skills and who enjoy building positive working relationships with others.

1. Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology
2. License eligibility as an LCP.
3. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
