Provider Enrollment Specialist/UKHC

Job description



Under the direction of the Medical Staff Affairs Director, this position requires working independently from, as well as collaboratively with other team members of the Medical Staff Office. Job duties include reviewing provider enrollment information for accuracy and verifying all enrollment information is complete and in accordance with all regulatory agencies, as well as University of Kentucky policies and procedures; and documentation of all correspondence, following protocol for analyzing and noting issues and inconsistencies.

Physical Requirements

Sitting, standing, and/or walking for extended periods of time; lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects weighing up to 50 lbs.



Shift

Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; may require occasional nights and weekends in order to meet departmental needs.



Skills/Knowledge/Abilities

The ideal candidate will possess experience working with Microsoft Office applications such as Windows, Excel, and Outlook; and Adobe software.

Preferred Education/Experience

Associate's degree and at least two years of administrative experience.
