The Curriculum Administrator of the BU Hub coordinates, manages, tracks, and supports a complex set of curricular and infrastructural systems to approve, review, and maintain the curriculum of the BU Hub, Boston Universitys first ever university-wide general education program for all undergraduates, launched in Fall 2018. The Curriculum Administrator serves a key role in the Hub office, facilitating critical communications between faculty, administrators, and operations staff. This position will afford significant opportunities for personal and professional growth, including broad conversancy with the landscape of higher education, training in systems and advanced skills, and increasing levels of initiative and responsibility. The Curriculum Administrator reports to and works closely with the Managing Director of the BU Hub.


  • Three to Five years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Masters or Masters in progress a plus
  • Experience in a university-level educational setting preferred
  • Strong writing and oral/written communication skills and attention to detail are critical
  • Demonstrates discretion and ability to work independently while exhibiting a collaborative style
  • Politically savvy to work within a complex institutional system to advance initiatives
  • Must have experience using a student information system and have the ability to learn the BU legacy system quickly
  • Experience with data analysis a plus
  • Required software experience/ skills: Microsoft Office, Trello (or other project management software), WordPress, HTML/ CSS, and database management. Exposure to SAP, Degree Advice, Microsoft Power BI, or other similar platforms helpful.
