Degree and Area of Specialization:

Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, social or behavioral sciences, or other related field required.



Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience:

- Experience in an academic health care or health education setting preferred.
- Ability and willingness to adapt to changing methods, requirements and priorities, as well as to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously, effectively and on time required.
- History of initiative, flexibility and personal accountability required.

The Education Coordinator must be a self-starter and have a high degree of professionalism, a successful record of project administration, decision-making and problem-solving techniques, strong writing and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team-based environment.

Prefix assignment determined by years of experience.

Position Summary:

The Education Coordinator in the Department of Family Medicine and Community Health will assist the Vice Chair of Education, the Director of Educational Services, and the Education Office in supporting the Primary Care Research, Integrative Health, Academic and Sports Medicine Fellowship programs, the Addiction Medicine Project Grants, and the Office of Community Health on administrative tasks.
