Job description

Duties: We are looking for a highly motivated, dedicated and detail oriented clinical research assistant to coordinate the oversight and execution of pilot programs for the GI Division inpatient service. Programs include time series studies, retrospective chart reviews, and literature reviews; creation of innovative technology tools relating to GI inpatient workflow and patient management. Duties will include: data collection, data entry and basic data analysis, PubMed searches, creation of electronic medical record tools for patient care, and attendance at routine meetings with Directors of the GI in-service biweekly and monthly GI quality improvement meetings.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma or GED and 1 to 2 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access, as well as REDCAP, STATA is preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be organized and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Experience with research data collection preferred.
