Position Summary: The Healthy Mothers-Healthy Children project focuses on Hispanic mothers and their 3-4 year old children and increasing self-efficacy around nutrition and physical activity. This 3 year time-limited position will serve as the Research Assistant and Data Manager to the Healthy Mothers-Healthy Children project and the direct link between the Project Manager and others involved in the project. Specific responsibilities will include: contributing to the development and maintenance of the study participant database; analyzing and compiling data for reports; initializing accelerometers for participant use; cleaning, analyzing and compiling accelerometer data; assisting Project Manager with administrative tasks associated with the project timeline to ensure time-dependent study goals are met; assisting with organizing project-related meetings and events; communicating with study participants and being sensitive to their potential limited English proficiency; assisting with field participant recruitment, enrollment, intervention and data collection activities; assisting with participant incentive distributions; performing literature reviews for supplemental grants.

Education Requirements:

Qualification and Experience: Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
