POSITION: A part-time Medical Assistant 2 position is available January 2019. This is a Monday-Friday position during the academic year with minimal hours during summer and breaks. This university staff position requires a six-month probationary period. The expected hourly hiring salary will be based on the state minimum starting salary.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Currently licensed as a Medical Assistant; Ability to demonstrate superb customer service and professionalism; Ability to take independent action under general supervision; Ability to multitask; Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusiveness; Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, faculty and staff to maintain a smooth and functioning unit.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of one-year experience in a primary care clinic including front office, lab and phlebotomy. Current CPR certification.
