Teach “Engineering Mechanics – Dynamics” and/or “Engineering Economy” at the Alexandria Campus.

This is a continuous recruitment and candidates will be contacted as positions become available.

Duties and Responsibilities

Adjunct faculty are employed to teach up to 12 credit hours in the fall and spring semester and/or up to 10 credit hours during summer session. Teaching load is based upon student enrollment and staffing needs. Instruction may be during the day, evening, or weekend.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Engineering. The minimum qualifications for adjunct faculty are based on the policies of the Virginia Community College System and NOVA, which are aligned with the standards and guidelines of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.

Preferred Qualifications

College level teaching experience and relevant professional experience. Adept knowledge of instructional technologies
