Basic Function

The Dental Hygiene program at the Medical Education Campus of Northern Virginia Community College is seeking qualified adjunct clinical instructors and adjunct supervising dentists.

Duties and Responsibilities

Instruct and supervise students in the provision of dental hygiene care.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors in Dental Hygiene or a related field. 3-5 years of clinical experience.A current Virginia dental and/or dental hygiene license. Certification in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide /oxygen sedation. Current certification in Basic Life Support for the Health Care provider.

Preferred Qualifications

College level teaching experience in the dental hygiene or related field. Bilingual, Dentrix experienced, clinical teaching experience. D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree from an accredited dental school.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
