Job Details
Under the supervision of the NOVACARD Manager, responsible for providing technical resolution for computer hardware and networking applications in the operations of the NOVACARD campus card program. Primarily Responsible for installing equipment for the campus card program financial point of sale equipment and provide first line of support for those devices. Work with Campus IT Specialists to troubleshoot network, hardware and software problems that affect all areas of the card system. Develop and enhance card system devices and work on oracle based applications and programs to enhance system performance and services as needed.

Works with Campus IT Specialists to troubleshoot network, hardware and software problems that affect all areas of the card system. Develops and enhances card system devices and works on oracle based applications and programs to enhance system performance and services, as needed.
Minimum QualificationsValid driver’s license. Some college level coursework in Computer Science/Information Systems or prior related work experience.
Preferred QualificationsValid driver’s license. Some college level coursework in Computer Science/Information Systems or prior related work experience. Experience in card system hardware devices and application. Experience in SQL programming, application and hardware development with card system devices. Certification in CBORD CS Gold system Application
Work experience in an institution of higher education.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Knowledge of hardware point ofsale devices, software installations, networks and data communication. Ability to analyze and diagnose routine and unusual computer operation and card reader equipment problems; communicate effectively with technical and non-technical personnel. Experience in providing customer service to users and managers. Possess ability to configure devices appropriate for the various system tasks assigned.Ability to safely move and handle 50 pounds independently.
