The Department of East Asian Studies invites applications for a full-time position as lecturer in Japanese, which will be available beginning September 1, 2018. The position is for one year, with possibility of renewal contingent upon satisfactory performance and sufficient course enrollments. We seek candidates with a minimum requirement of Master's degree in Linguistics, Japanese pedagogy, TESOL or equivalent; native or near-native fluency in Japanese; experience teaching Japanese to English-speaking students at the college level; and excellent command of English.
