This OPS position serves as support to the Diversity & Inclusion program by assisting in the planning, development, and delivery of diversity and inclusion projects and communication. Assists with the planning of diversity council, subcommittee and other related meetings, workshops, training, and special events; prepares and distributes meeting materials. Assists with the preparation of reports and the compilation of programmatic activities, records and award applications as they relate to the University's Strategic Plan diversity and inclusion objectives; attend meetings as requested to provide information and serve as a resource person.
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years' experience working within a professional office environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
Candidates must be professional, possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
Experience in both academic and office settings.
Completion of or enrollment in graduate level academic courses.
Previous experience working on diversity and inclusion related topics/projects.
Anticipated Salary Range
$16.50 per hour
This is an OPS/temporary Job.
Criminal Background Check
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
