Program Manager of Custom Programs

UCLA Extension, a global leader in professional and continuing higher education is looking for an experienced professional to provide logistical oversight and support for the department of Business, Management and Legal Programs.

Under the direct supervision of the Program Director; the Program Manager will plan, implement, and provide marketing support and financial analysis for approximately 500 courses and seminars annually with a projected gross income in excess of $4,000,000. The main subject areas include courses and certificated programs in accounting and taxation; personal financial planning; investments & finance; and international business. 
This position involves direct supervision responsibilities of the unit’s program representatives and oversight of the day-to-day unit operations of the unit as well as participation in strategic planning and new course development, and instructor recruitment.  

Successful candidate must have demonstrated management skills, including the ability to create a supportive culture and foster individual motivation, high levels of individual and team performance and accountability, and high quality of service to customers.  Previous administrative and organizational experience in planning, prioritizing and implementing a variety complex projects with aggressive deadlines.    This position requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar, writing and editing skills.  Previous experience in leadership and management is a must for success in this position.    Business Management BS and/or MBA with concentration in finance, accounting, or international business or equivalent combination of work experience and education preferred.
